Introduction:

Women were to improve their understanding of issues of gender based violence and develop various strategies to address the issue during meeting. In the village try to develop Mahila protection mechanism in a village in concern of getting the help of Police Patil and some active women leaders are taking initiative to maintain harmony and peace in their village. Interacted with women on Violence against women through “GharcheKaamSarvanche”. 

Developed cadre building of women and Youths in villages Sonand, Kole, Sangewadi, Lonvire, Mahmud, Dongargaon, Hadid, etc.

Impact:

  • Block-level formation of 8 women leaders group formed.
  • Mahila Suraksha Samiti Study report shared status of Mahila Suraksha Samiti at Block Police station.
  • Involved Mahila Suraksha Samiti member Adv. Kedar, PSI Rajkumar Kendre, Mrs. GauritaiBopatkar, Adv. Sarita Mokashi, Adv. Sunita Dhanvade, Kalpana Mohite, Swatitaimagar Nagar Sevika.
  • Get a positive response from PSI Rajkumar kendre for the village level committee.
  • Build good rapport with Police Patil and Block level Police station.
